3 samples for my ‘Wound’ Dress and Top. The first sample is from my first project in this Foundation Course ‘Compress and Expand’ . I re-evaluated my work from the start of the term and decided to use this sample and make it bigger in my FMP. I encountered some difficulties in creating the same effect but on a bigger scale. It seems that I have to find the proper materials to combine in order to obtain the depth that I want.Right now, I used some really thin and elastic cotton and for the wound I used boiled wool. But I don’t think that’s enough, I’ll have to find something thicker than the red wool so this sample would work. Meanwhile, I am taking care of the rest of the pieces, and trying to put things together. I am still not 100 % decided on my final selection, but that has to come through sooner or later.
